2021. Merino wool with assorted mulberry papers, plant fibers and silk; wet felted.

Created for the 13th annual 50|50 Show at the Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica, CA. Over 50 artists each created 50 pieces during a 50-day period in the summer of 2021.

In a medium that is all about texture, I wanted to create many different kinds of them, and push my boundaries on form and finish.  I returned to techniques that I have learned in classes over the last few years and to forms that have inspired me from other fiber artists and ceramicists and made them my own.
